A meeting was held at the Majuli District Commissioner’s Office regarding a new voter registration.The registration camp will be held in 29 higher secondary schools and colleges in Majuli from November 30 to December 3, The main purpose of this program is to include students between the ages of 17 and 21 in the electoral rolls under the Special Short Amendment.
Notably, the camp will be held at Pub Majuli College, Majuli Auniati Hemchandra Higher Secondary School, Majuli College, Rangachahi College, Jengraimukh College, Island Academy, Ratanpur Higher Secondary School, Garmur Sri Sri Pitambar Deb Goswami Higher Secondary School etc.
