Ayushi Jain (RR-2020) took charge as the 34th District Commissioner of Darrang district on Wednesday. She formally took over from the outgoing District Commissioner, Pubali Gohain (DR-1993), at the District Commissioner’s Office, Mangaldai.
Prior to her present assignment, Ayushi Jain served as Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam, Finance Department.The outgoing District Commissioner, Pubali Gohain has been transferred and posted as the District Commissioner of Golaghat district.
