The 51st Annual General Meeting of the Guwahati Management Association (GMA) was held at Guwahati Greens, Amingaon.GMA President Chiranjit Chaliha who chaired the meeting welcomed the members. In his secretarial report,the honorary secretary Bibhuti Dutta gave an account of the activities of the organisation during the last two years.The financial report of the association was presented by the treasurer A K Hazarika.
Later, a new body was elected with the following: President: Chiranjit Chaliha, Working President: Bhabesh Hazarika, Vice President: Bibhuti Dutta, Secretary: Prabhat Konwar, Joint Secretary: Simanta Goswami, Treasurer: Anubhuti Dutta and six directors.
Guwahati Management Association(GMA) was established in 1970 and has a glorious past of nearly several decades propagating scientific management in the North East under the roof of All India management association (AIMA)- the apex management body of the country and now spreading its arms abroad to many countries.
