Celebration of National Technology Day 2025 at DRL-DRDO, Tezpur

National Technology Day 2025 was celebrated at Defence Research Laboratory-DRDO, Tezpur on 16 May 2025 with delivering of oration by Dr Ajitabh Bora, Scientist-E on the topic “Bio-engineering approach for landslide mitigation”. The event was graced by Prof Jitender Sharma, Dean Life Sciences, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra as Chief Guest alongwith Prof., Anil Sindhu, Chairman Biotechnology, DC Ram University of Science & Technology, New Delhi; Prof Rajinder Singh, Principal Scientist, ICAR-Indian Institute of Wheat and Barley Research, Karnal and Sh. Virendra M Mittal, SP, ACB, New Delhi as Guests of Honour. Centre Head Dr D V Kamboj welcome the guests and apprised about the research & development activities of the centre. The Chief Guest lauded the scientists of DRL for their exemplary effort in development of products such as Iron Removal Unit, High altitude bio-toilet, Capsigrenade, etc for the services having spin-off benefit and urged to work for development of technologies for the problems faced by the troops deployed in NE region of the country.
