Assam Governor Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya administered the oath of office and secrecy to the Council of Ministers in presence of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma at the Jyoti-Bishnu Antarjatik Kala Mandir here today.
Governor Shri Acharya administered oath to Ashwini Ray Sarkar, Ashok Singhal, Bimal Borah, Biswajit Daimary,Jayanta Mallabaruah, Kaushik Rai, Keshab Mahanta, Krishnendu Paul, Nilima Devi, Pijush Hazarika, Dr.Ranoj Pegu and Susanta Borgohain were among the 12 legislators who took oath as ministers.
It may be noted that ministers sworn in earlier on May 12 are Atul Bora, Charan Boro ,Ajanta Neog and Rameshwar Teli.
