A four-day workshop on advanced dental 3D printing concluded today at PM-DevINE 3D Printing Center of Excellence, Tech City, Guwahati.Organized by 3DPCOE with Stratasys, AIIMS Guwahati, and NHAK Nagaland, the event trained dental professionals from Eastern and NE India on next-gen digital denture manufacturing.Stratasys showcased _Trudent_, a new material that prints full monolithic dentures in one go, cutting time, labor, and cost while improving fit and aesthetics.
Stratasys leaders Chris Kabot, Adrienne Slevin, and Vahi Steven Kodabakshian joined US technician Robert Kreyer, CDT, who shared global best practices. Regional participants included doctors from NIMSR Nagaland, AIIMS Guwahati, and 3DPCOE.The workshop aims to boost digital dentistry in NE India, making dental care more accessible and affordable in non-urban areas through Industry 4.0 tech.
